Bio

Katharine is an open-source developer, lover of all things Unix and dedicated pythonista. Before entering the open-source world, she taught literacy in Brooklyn. She used to work with the django teams at the Washington Post and led a team that introduced python and django at USA TODAY. Now she scrapes the web at a pylons/cherrypy shop in Pasadena, CA and spends her free time teaching future pythonistas and hacking on the weekends with the Los Angeles PyLadies.
